Chloe Jean was born on August 24th, 2011 and shortly after diagnosed with bilateral profound hearing loss. At exactly 11 months old Chloe Jean had her first cochlear implant surgery for her right ear, the following week she heard sound for the first time. Just before her first birthday she had her second surgery for her left ear, and activation was the last week of August. Here is her story...
